From The Desk of the Principal
The four great things about choosing a Bishop Rosecrans High School Education:
Rosecrans succeeds in helping students achieve their maximum academic potential by offering a challenging curriculum aligned to national and state standards. Well-rounded course offerings including art, music, foreign language, technology, and PE complement the core subjects of religion, math, language arts, social studies, and science.
Instruction is grounded in the teachings of the Catholic Church and infused throughout the curriculum. There are many opportunities for students to practice their faith through service to others and attending Mass regularly. Our school works to incorporate Catholic faith daily with Catholic prayer, practice, and tradition in a Christ-centered atmosphere.
Rosecrans' students enjoy the benefits of a broad selection of extracurricular activities and sports to develop community commitment, social skills, leadership skills, and physical fitness. Approximately 95 percent of our students participate in performing and fine arts, athletics, student publications, student government, or clubs and activities.
Rosecrans offers an education that is personal; teachers know their students as individuals, as well as their various learning styles, their strengths and limitations, and their motivations. Our school has a supportive community that cultivates self-discipline and motivation and fosters student learning and achievement. The welcoming environment invites and encourages families to be involved in the school. Rosecrans makes a positive difference in the lives of our students. We are a community of hope which reflects God’s love and love of neighbor.
