GRADUATION SCHOLARSHIPS
M. Julia Dodd Scholarship
This scholarship is given in memory of M. Julia Dodd, alumna of Bishop Rosecrans High School, Class of 1986, by her parents, Bob and Mary Dodd. This award is given to a college bound senior who demonstrates outstanding academic potential for college as well as a commitment to the Catholic values fostered by Bishop Rosecrans.
Julie Poland Major Scholarship
The Julie Poland Major Scholarship is available to a college bound senior girl who has lettered in a varsity
sport while at Bishop Rosecrans High School. The applicant must be academically suited for college work and financially worthy of aid. Application for this scholarship must be made through the school office
and the guidance counselor. This scholarship is not connected to the Lady Bishop Basketball Outstanding Athlete Award.
Ann Marie Rose Memorial Scholarship
The Ann Marie Rose Memorial Scholarship is awarded annually to two seniors planning to attend college
full time and pursue a career in medicine. In addition, the scholarship is based on financial need. The scholarship may be used by the recipient for any or all of the following: tuition, room and board, and books. Application is made through the Guidance Counselor’s Office.
Savliwala Scholarship for Rosecrans Outstanding Math Student
This scholarship was established in memory of Mr. Nuruddin Savliwala by Zehra and Salim Kaka and will be awarded at Graduation to one senior student. The recipient must have a passion for Math, all final grades must be A's for each year in all Honors Math courses, a minimum cumulative GPA of 3.8, SAT 1 and SAT II Math scores of 700 or above, must take all Honors Math courses offered by Rosecrans, and must be a student at Rosecrans all four years. The award amount of $1500 is to be used for educational purposes
only.
Scholarship applications are available in the school office.
Applications are due April 21, 2010.
