Dear Alumni, Friends & Parents:

As you already know that Bishop Rosecrans is a very special place for many reasons.  One of the most important, however, is the support and generosity of our supporters.  In order to stay true to our mission, we must ensure that we continually strive to establish more solid financial security. 

The difference between tuition and cost = GAP

We must remain diligent in our efforts to bring in annual donations to support our 'GAP'. The difference between the tuition to educate a child and the actual cost of a Catholic education is $2,450 per student.  The total 'GAP' for the 2009-2010 school year was close to $400,000.

Thanks to past support the Foundation was able to contribute over $160,000.

The State of Ohio has slashed state aid to private school by $59 million over the next two years.  What this means for Bishop Rosecrans High School is an even wider gap between tuition and the cost of educating each student.  We anticipate $38,000 less support over the next tow fiscal years.

Propagation of the Faith!

We would be remiss if we did not address our yearly tuition assistance needs, which have been in excess of $300,000 for the past several years.  Clearly, with today's economic climate, we anticipate an even greater need.  Providing a Catholic education is a fundamental tradition of Catholicism.  Support our efforts in the hope that no child is turned away due to financial hardship.
