We focus on the spiritual life of students at Rosecrans, and provide ways for both members of the club and the student body in general to experience and live out their faith. We hope to be a visible symbol of Christ to the school. In the past, we have helped organize prayer services, designed faith-based programming for Advent and Lent, and sponsored service projects.
Our goal is to raise awareness about problems that face any community, such as poverty, disease, and discrimination. We hope to combat these problems using a community-based model: giving assistance to help a community face its problems in its own way. For us, the definition of community is as small as Rosecrans and as large as the world, encompassing everything inbetween. Past projects have included 'Get on the Bus with Us' to raise money for a school in Uganda, and a fair trade booth at the Rosecrans Bazaar.
Begun in 2013, the chess club is the newest addition to Rosecrans' activities. It welcomes people of all skill levels to practice chess technique, learn about famous matches, and just have a good time!
As the Rosecrans Drama Club, we put on 1 - 2 performances each year. All levels of acting ability are welcome to join as long as you are willing to learn! A successful production requires many talented people, and we guarantee you'll have a good time.
Help Rosecrans Go Green! Founded in 2011 by Rosecrans then-senior Alex Lewis, this club has grown to sponsor recycling opportunities in the classrooms and lunchroom, host Earth Day events, and have giveaways of conservation-minded products at the Christmas Bazaar. We're always looking for new ideas!
Key Club is an international student-led organization which provides its members with opportunities to provide service, build character and develop leadership. Here at Rosecrans, we are involved in many different local service opportunities, and frequently send members to the state conference. If you're looking to make a difference in the area, this is the club for you!
Beginning in the fall, we learn about a case designed by the Ohio Center for Law Related Education. With the help of area lawyers, we develop team members as lawyers and witnesses for both the prosecution and the defense sides of the case. Competition is in February against many area schools.

The goal of the Monsignor Leininger Chapter of NHS is to provide a place for achieving students at Rosecrans to develop the four qualities of scholarship, leadership, service, and character. Students are nominated for membership. We engage in a mix of community outreach events, such as a trick-or-trunk for parish children and caroling at nursing homes, but we also plan events for our fellow students such as the annual dodgeball tournament that also raises money for the Red Cross. Rosecrans is the home of the Southeastern Ohio Quiz League. Beginning in the fall of each year, we compete in competitions of knowlege against other area schools. Practices are once a week until the season begins. At the end of the season, if we do well we may advace to district competition to face even higher-caliber academic teams. We have also made appearances on ONN's Brain Game twice in the past four years.
Spanish club meets once a month to learn about the culture of Spanish-speaking countries. We involve ourselves in dance, authentic food, and other facets of life in order to complement our linguistic knowledge. We plan to take a trip to the Dominican Republic during the summer break for a complete cultural immersion!
